Everything It Does, in Plain Words
Skidle turns the jobs you keep repeating into checklists that go to the right people, follow up on their own, and keep a record of who did what. Here’s all of it, and every feature is included in one plan.
The work itself
Write a job down once, the way you’d explain it on someone’s first day.
Checklists
Opening, closing, the weekly deep clean. A list of things to check off, in your order and in your words.
Questions, not just checkboxes
When a checkbox isn’t enough, ask for a number, a reading, a note, or a yes or no. The fridge log needs a temperature, not a checkmark.
Photos as proof
Ask for a photo before a job counts as done, like the clean grill, the stocked shelf, or the fixed leak. It’s taken on the phone and kept with the record.
Speak instead of typing
For questions that need more than a word, people can tap Speak and say their answer in English or Spanish. It turns into text they can fix before submitting.
Stock counts
Count what’s on the shelf, in the right units. Anything below the minimum you want on hand becomes your order list.
Required means required
Mark the questions that can’t be skipped. A job isn’t done until every required answer is in.
A starter list on day one
Every new account starts with a simple to-do list that’s ready to go, so you can assign the first job in a minute.
Recipes, ready to try
An end-of-day recap, a stock count, a fridge log, an opening checklist. Answer a few questions, try it yourself, then turn it on. You can change anything afterward.
Who and when
Decide once who does what and when it’s due. Then stop being the reminder.
Assign it to a person, a role, or a location
Give a job to Maria, to your baristas, or to the downtown location. Skidle figures out who that is today.
Deadlines
Due by closing, due Friday, or due an hour after it comes in. Everyone can see what’s due and what’s late.
Reminders by phone and email
People get a reminder before something’s late, not after. And you’re not the one sending it.
Automatic follow-up
Still not done? The person hears about it first, then the manager, then you. You only hear about the jobs that are actually stuck.
A second pair of eyes
Send finished work to someone else to check before it counts. It’s good for jobs where “done” has to mean done.
Rules without code
If the temperature is over 40, tell the manager. If the customer said no, close it. Simple rules, built from plain choices.
Let AI decide
For judgment calls, AI can read the note a customer left and decide whether it’s a complaint, a question, or spam. Then Skidle sends it the right way.
Photos checked for you
Write what a photo should show, like “the door is closed” or “the lights are off.” AI answers yes, no, or not sure, and you only hear about the ones that aren’t a yes.
Every morning, every few hours, every Monday
Start a routine at a set time of day, every few hours between opening and closing, or on the days you choose.
Know who’s in
People check in when they arrive and check out when they leave, on their phone or the website, with or without a shift. Work goes to whoever’s there, and they’re asked for a recap on the way out.
See what’s going on
Everyone sees their own work. You see all of it.
One view
Every task that’s yours, as a list or a board: To Do, Pending, and Done. Drag a task, or set its stage from the list.
Everyone sees what’s theirs
A barista opens the app and sees barista jobs, not the whole business. Less noise, fewer excuses.
Comments on a task
Ask a question right on the job. “Which fridge?” gets answered where the work is, not in a group text.
Everyone, or one person
Owners and admins can see every task in the business, or just one person’s, from the same view.
A summary at the end of the day
One email with what got done, what was missed, what’s still urgent, and what each person said about their shift. Daily, weekly, or every few hours, with a PDF to keep.
On the phone or in the browser
Your team can use the app or just open Skidle in a browser on the phone they already have, right where the job is.
The record
When it matters, you can show what happened.
Who did what, and when
Every checkmark, answer, and photo has a name and a time on it. No more “someone did it.”
Nothing quietly rewritten
A correction is saved as a correction. The past stays the past.
Kept for up to a year
The records your workflows save are kept for up to 1 year, so when the inspector asks about March, you have March.
Versioned forms
When you change a checklist, old answers stay with the old version. You always know what was asked at the time.
Your business, your people
One place for every location and everyone who works there.
More than one location
The same checklist runs at every location. Look at one, or all of them together.
25 People Included, at Every Location
You don’t pay for each person you add. Everyone who does the work gets their own account, because that’s what makes the record worth having.
Roles
Owner, admin, and member, plus your own labels, like manager or driver, so you can assign work to a role instead of a name.
Invite by email
Send a link. They sign up, they’re in, and they see their jobs. They can sign in with Google or Apple if they prefer.
Belong to more than one business
Run two shops with different owners? Use one account and switch between them.
Bring your Trello boards
Moving from Trello? Import a board, with its lists and cards, and keep going with them as tasks.
