What Skidle is
Skidle is a checklist and workflow app for small businesses. It keeps track of the work that repeats: who needs to do it, when it's due, and who actually did it.
Who it's for
Businesses with a small team and jobs that need to happen on a schedule, like shops, cafés, salons, and service businesses. People use it for:
- Opening and closing checklists
- Fridge and freezer temperature logs
- Cleaning schedules
- Vehicle and equipment checks
- Stock counts
- New hire onboarding
- Customer callbacks
- Maintenance requests
How it works
- Accounts: Each business is an account. One person can belong to several accounts and switch between them.
- People and roles: Everyone is an owner, an admin, or a standard member. Roles like "manager" or "barista" decide who gets which work.
- Forms: The questions a job asks, like a checkbox, a temperature, a count, or a note. Forms are versioned, so changing one doesn't change answers people already gave.
- Workflows: What happens as work moves along: what comes next, who it goes to, and what happens when it's late.
- One view: Every task that's yours, and every workflow step waiting on you, in one place, as a list or a board. Each person only sees their own work.
- Deadlines: Tasks can have a due date. If work is late, Skidle follows up the way the workflow says to.
- Records: Every entry keeps who did it, when, and what they entered. See how long we keep things.
Skidle works in a browser on phones and computers, and there's a phone app for iPhone and Android.
