Add Your Shifts to Your Calendar

Add your Skidle shifts and time off to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook. They stay up to date automatically.

If you rely on the calendar on your phone, you can see your shifts there alongside everything else.

Add your shifts

  1. Click Schedule, then click Export.
  2. Click Create secret address.
  3. Click Add to Apple Calendar or Add to Google Calendar, then confirm in the calendar app that opens.

If you use Outlook or another calendar app, copy the address instead, then paste it where your calendar app lets you subscribe to a calendar from the web. In Google Calendar, for example, that's Other calendars > From URL.

Your secret address in iCal format stays on the page, so you can copy it again at any time.

What you'll see

Your published shifts, with their location and notes, and your approved time off. Draft shifts never leave Skidle.

Your calendar is read-only. To change a shift, change it in Skidle, and your calendar updates automatically. Calendar apps decide how often to check for changes, which can take a few hours. Google Calendar can take longer.

Keep your address secret

Only you should know your secret address. Don't share it with other people. Anyone who has it can see your shifts and time off without signing in.

If you share it by accident, click Reset. That invalidates the old address and creates a new one, so you'll need to add the new one to your calendar app. Turn off invalidates the address without creating a new one.
