The Phone App

Your tasks, schedule, and notifications on your phone. Most of your team will only ever use the app.

Most people on your team will never open Skidle on a computer. The phone app has everything they need for a shift: their tasks, their schedule, and notifications when something needs their attention.

Get the app

Download the app from the App Store or Google Play. Sign in with the same email and password you use on the website. If you belong to more than one account, you can switch between them in the app's Settings.

Home

Home shows your tasks by stage, the same ones you see on your Dashboard on the website. Tap a task to open it. From there, you can fill in its form, take any photos it asks for, add a comment, or move it to the next stage. Workflow steps that are waiting on you appear here too.

The first time a form asks for a photo, your phone asks whether Skidle can use the camera. If you tapped Don't Allow, you can turn on camera access for Skidle in your phone's Settings app.

Schedule

Schedule shows your shifts, plus your team's shifts if your admin lets you see them. This is where you check in, take a break, and check out. You can also find cover for a shift, swap a shift, pick up an open shift, request time off, and set when you're available. See Cover, swaps, and time off.

Notifications

Notifications shows everything Skidle has told you about. To get alerts even when Skidle is closed, like when a task needs you or your shifts change, turn on alerts in the app's Settings. To turn them off later, use your phone's Settings app.

Settings

In Settings, you can switch accounts, manage notifications, and choose whether the app uses light mode, dark mode, or matches your phone.
