Integrations
Bring in your team and shifts from Square, keep a copy of every form in Google Drive or Dropbox, and move over a Trello board.
Skidle works alongside the tools you already pay for. To connect one, click Account, click Integrations, then click Marketplace. Click Details on an integration to see what it brings and what you can choose, then click Connect. You can see what's connected in Installed.
Anything an integration does, you can also do yourself. An integration saves you typing, but it's never the only way to do something.
Square
Brings in your people, job titles and locations, your shifts, timecards and business hours.
Square and events
Square doesn’t add separate events. Shifts and timecards from Square become shifts and check-ins in Skidle, so they start the same workflows and send the same API events as ones made in Skidle:
- Workflow trigger A shift starts or ends
- Workflow trigger Someone arrives or leaves
- Workflow trigger A store event
- API event
shift.published: A shift was published, or a published shift changed - API event
shift.cancelled: A published shift was canceled - API event
presence.clocked_in: Someone checked in - API event
presence.clocked_out: Someone checked out - API event
presence.break_started: Someone started a break - API event
presence.break_ended: Someone ended a break
Google Drive and Dropbox
Keep a copy of every submitted form in your own Google Drive or Dropbox. Each form is saved as a PDF with full-size photos, and a spreadsheet gets a row for each form, with a new file each day, week, or month.
Skidle only changes the files it creates: a Skidle folder in your Google Drive, or Apps > Skidle in your Dropbox.
Trello
Moving off a Trello board? Choose the board, and Skidle shows you what it will become: lists become stages, and cards become tasks with their descriptions, labels, checklists, due dates, and comments. Match the board's members to your people, then import it. Nothing changes on your board in Trello.
Trello is a great tool. It just wasn't built for work that goes to whoever's working, which is why this exists.
Other tools
If you use a tool that isn't listed, you can connect it yourself with a web request card in a workflow, or through the API. See API keys and webhooks. Or tell us what you use. We read every request.
